Victorious in my victories

Victory rolls are so much easier than you think! Lets work on one.First start by parting the hair in a straight line from behind the ear to the other ear. Use a curling iron to create a curl. Next get a tease comb and back comb to create hight and volume. Then use a smoothing brush to make the teased hair smooth. Roll the end of the hair in a circle and continue to roll the circle to the desired spot and pin. waaa laaa! One pin curl. One you get good you can section and play around with it. Like anything you have to practice it. Don't give up if it doesn't come out right the first time! Thats all for today. Stay stinking cute sweeties. xoxo!

It was a ruffles and lace kinda day <3 I wore my hair curly with a lace flower I created from JoAnns fabrics. The shirt is vintage from salvation army in Kenosha WI., skirt was also a thrift find. from a salvation army Chicago Il., lace tights from target with a simple black heel from target. Olé! You have to be patient and dig a little but you can absolutely find quality items thrifting. Quick tip add vinegar to your wash when you take your items home. It gets rid of any odor from age. Open Mic hiphop at the local Subterranean ... yes please! Dj Quest was killing it! If your ever in Chicago thats the place to be on Tuesday nights. I probably stuck out like a sore thumb with those cats. Curly natural hair high pony tail with my bangs teased into a victory roll. My bestie let me borrow some wooden red earrings<3 I am wearing a harliquin sweater from forever21 tucked into a high waisted pencil skirt from thrift, thin red belt is from marshalls, some fishnets, and of course my saddle shoes from bamboo! simple easy pinup. Never really go out on the weekends but it was my co-workers birthday so I spruced up and headed out. Durkins on Diversey was the spot. It's a whole in the wall bar filled with Lincoln Park trixies and douche bags. I chose to go with a 70's look pin curled my hair with a blow out and set. The teal shirt is forever 21, thrifted the high waisted short, black tights, and payless $10 on sale red platform heels
